IT’S NOT TOO LATE

Numerous serious environmental disasters have already occurred under the strict supervision ofn the Icelandic government, including salmon and fish mortality, massive pollution, and … the release of thousands of non-native eldri salmon. … It is not too late to prevent further damage. I advocate for a … ban of open net pens.

PROUD OF NATURE

We want to protect our nature. We want to let our kids see the protected nature, and we want to be proud of it.
Vala Arna, in Patagonia Films’ ‘A Salmon Nation’

PROTECTED BY LAW

I support the proposal to include Eyjafjörður and Öxarfjörður in the group of fjords and floes that enjoy exemption from open net pens, and thus a comprehensive protection and preservation area will be created. Moreover … such protection will be moved from regulation to law.
